Which companies are really working hybrid or remote?
In this post-pandemic era, many workers want their next job to offer flexibility when it comes to working from home.
But it’s easy for job seekers to fall into a bait-and-switch trap where they get excited about an employer who touts a “hybrid” work policy—only to find out in the interview that they only allow working from home once a week.
A new tool called the “Flex Index” makes employer work policies searchable.
Launched by hybrid work management startup Scoop, the Flex Index acknowledges how important this information is for job seekers.
Scoop gathers the data via employee surveys, then cross-checks email addresses and emails HR departments to verify the details. While the data isn’t perfect, these insights give job seekers a sense of what to expect.
As a recruiter, I’m all about helping people find the right fit across the board. It’s great to see that job seekers getting more transparency into the companies they’re interested in joining.
