When it comes to shopping on social media, I prefer things to be a little less sponsored, a little more… social.

Brands are increasingly using social media platforms to sell products and services. And shoppers love that social selling experience, with 80 million social media buyers in 2020 alone! Why? It comes down to relatability or friendliness—that genuine feeling that comes with knowing who you’re buying from.

It’s the same in recruiting. If you want to attract the right candidates, you need to show them an authentic version of yourself.

In my 25+ years of recruiting, I’ve noticed that a little friendliness has never failed to make the recruiting process successful. If you want to talk how we can use “social selling” in the hiring process, I’d love to chat with you about it.
