More than perhaps any other line of business, HR folks have had to adapt in the last few years. As we round the bend into year three of the pandemic moving towards an endemic stage, what does this look like?
According to HR Dive, there are a few big trends happening right now:
🔹 Workplace and workstyle flexibility are now the normal mode for a lot of companies, rather than just a temporary fix
🔹 Employers are making their own way when it comes to vaccine policy, in the absence of any presiding federal rule
🔹 Well-being support has become the most important benefit in the package, and this includes things like mental health support and telehealth
🔹 As DEI becomes even more important to HR strategy, parental leave and transparent pay policies are going to be key
In my line of work as a recruiter I see these trends playing out broadly. But every company I work with is adapting to the times at its own pace and in its own ways.
The keyword is #adapting. That’s one trend that certainly can’t be avoided by anyone.
