By now, most of us probably could have guessed it, but the statistics are in—mental health improves when you work from home.
In a recent report by Prodoscore (an employee visibility and productivity intelligence software provider), 36.7% of those surveyed say their mental health has been impacted positively by work from home. In fact, 82% of all work from home workers are happier vs. working in the office.
Why, exactly? For starters:
-they can take care of household chores
-listen to podcasts or music while working
-go for impromptu walks
-take a quick nap
-or enjoy a mid-day workout
Add to that the 43% who report their physical health improving, too and I’d say you have a case for mental health success.
But really, this is just balance. As a recruiter, I know how important that is to achieve, and maintain. If you’re looking to make a change, I’m here to help you through it. Just drop me a note or give me a shout.
