What are the best jobs in 2022? It depends how you’re measuring.
US News and World Report doesn’t hesitate to rank healthcare roles the highest. When listing their “100 Best Jobs” across industries, healthcare roles constitute four out of ten, with nurse practitioner as the very most desirous healthcare job.
Above that? Information security analyst, a job I’m not surprised to see in such demand in a world where everything’s gone digital — including crime.
In the The Wall Street Journal, they’re reporting that the competition for compliance officers is higher than ever this year — mainly because of increasing regulations.
If your background is not in healthcare, compliance, or cybersecurity — or if these arenas frankly don’t interest you at all — then forget about the fact that they’re supposedly your best bets for getting hired right now.
The truth is that there are plenty of incredible job openings in every line of business, and across every sector, right now. As a recruiter I can testify that it’s a good time to be a job seeker, regardless of your background and your future goals.
