About Tim Norstrem

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Tim has resided in Tampa, Florida from the time he graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 1988. Upon graduation and subsequent arrival in Tampa, Tim began his career in public accounting in the tax department of Deloitte & Touche. Over the next 5 years, he provided tax as well as audit services to corporate clients throughout the Tampa Bay area with a few firms. In 1993, he joined the Tampa office of an international recruiting firm as a recruiter specializing in the search & placement of financial professionals. Throughout his five-year tenure, he was frequently recognized as a top producer and was eventually promoted to division manager overseeing recruiters in Tampa and Orlando. In 1998 Norstrem Associates was created with the idea that a contingency recruitment firm could provide more than a resume warehousing & referral service but could provide search services.
