How to Power Off in New Year

How’s your 2023 starting off? Busy? Stressful?

If it hasn’t been all smooth sailing, here’s some great advice on how to reset, refresh and recharge.

I came across this one in Inc magazine from Mandy Gilbert, and while her advice has entrepreneurs in mind, it can absolutely apply to all of us.

1. Reset—by decluttering. Not just your space but your workspace, your inbox, and google drive! Get stuff off your digital and physical desktops.

2. Refresh—by getting outside. One thing we’ve learned in the last few years is the importance of getting fresh air and Vitamin D from the sun. It will help your immune system, your cardiovascular health, and your mood (and it doesn’t hurt to make this an everyday thing)

3. Recharge—with a screen hiatus. Let your brain and eyes rest. Let work lie and take some time your yourself and your family.

A renewed sense of purpose is sure to follow. And at the very least, you’ll feel a lot less stressed as you dig into the new year and ponder new beginnings. And if those new beginnings include a new job, well, give me a shout or drop me a note and we can discuss.
